Supplies:
Square Tiles = $0.16 each at Home Depot/Lowe’s
Scrapbook Paper & Stickers
Felt (I got the one with adhesive backing to save a step)
Mod Podge with foam brush
Clear Spray Coating
Step #1: Apply the felt squares to the bottom of the tiles so that you aren’t scratching your furniture. I purchased the felt with the adhesive backing to save the step of applying glue/adhesives and waiting to dry.
Step #2: Apply a thin layer of Mod Podge to the tile and then carefully lay your paper on top. It’s a good idea to immediately smooth it down and work on the edges so that you don’t get a ribboning effect with bubbles.
Step #3: Once the paper is in place, then apply a thin layer of Mod Podge directly overtop of the paper. You can see below that there is a slight streaking if you put too much on. It will generally dry and even out with the additional layers.
Step #4: Apply at least 2 more coats of Mod Podge over-top and wait for it all to dry.
Step #5: Spray a thin coating of clear spray over the tiles to give it a beautiful glossy look. 2 coats of the spray then waiting several days for them to air out and clear the pungent smell.
Step #6: Prepare for delivery! A great gift for a host/hostess or housewarming gift!
